		<description>Thanks for the rundown on green tree options - I especially appreciate that you&#039;ve reminded your readers that fake trees present multiple problems in terms of toxicity and the proliferation of plastic, which ultimately creates a terrible toxic waste problem. Another problem with nursery trees is that they&#039;ve been sprayed and fertilized with synthetic petrochemicals which we might rather not expose our families and pets to by bringing them into our homes. My green tree solution is to decorate a tree that grows in the yard outside our windows - it&#039;s beautiful and easy and it grows taller each year. It&#039;s not a fir, but it brings plenty of holiday cheer our way. Thanks!
