Fraser Fir - Abies fraseri

The Fraser Fir (Abies fraseri) is a large coniferous evergreen native to the Eastern United States used mainly for Christmas trees, lumber and naturalizing. This is America's most popular Christmas tree, and also makes a nice specimen for the yard. This tree does not like to grow in altitudes below 4000 feet. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
