Rocky Mountain Fir - Abies lasiocarpa

The Rocky Mountain Fir (Abies lasiocarpa) is a large coniferous evergreen native to the Western United States suitable for landscapes, but used mainly for lumber and naturalizing. The plant is extremely hardy and adaptable to all types of soil. This plant is probably too big for most residential use. The native species is most common in production.
