Caucasian Fir - Abies nordmanniana

The Caucasian Fir (Abies nordmanniana) is a smaller coniferous evergreen ideal for use in landscapes, gardens and borders, but introduced for Christmas tree production. This tree fits nicely into border plantings for screening and buffers. With age this species can become tall, but maintains a tight habit. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production, but a few more varieties are emerging in cultivation.
