Noble Fir - Abies procera

The Noble Fir (Abies procera) is a large coniferous evergreen native to the Western United States ideal for landscapes and gardens. The plant is also grown commercially for lumber and Christmas trees. This plant is my absolute favorite Christmas tree. It has very firm horizontal branches that are generously spaced and ideal for hanging ornaments. This also makes it unique in the landscape. Unfortunately, The plant has a very limited range of natural habitat. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
