Karroo - Acacia karroo

The Karroo (Acacia karroo) is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This variety has two striking features. The larger than life flower spikes cannot be missed, and the bone-looking thorns that come out from the branches and stems are both beautiful. Wattles (Acacia) can naturalize and be invasive in warmer climates. This variety has a shorter bloom time than other Wattles. The native species is most common in production.
