Sonoran Cat Claw - Acacia occidentalis

The Sonoran Cat Claw (Acacia occidentalis) is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has a very dense head making it great for residential landscapes. It only blooms in spring, but has very fragrant creamy flowers. Wattles (Acacia) can naturalize and be invasive in warmer climates. The native species is most common in production.
