Boxelder - Acer negundo

The Boxelder (Acer negundo) is a large deciduous for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This plant draws bugs and drops lots of debris which caused early settlers to use it around livestock and poultry to provide fodder. Draws the Boxelder bug which does not damage the tree but will cover and invade light colored buildings. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
