Variegated Boxelder - Acer negundo 'Variegatum'

The Variegated Boxelder (Acer negundo 'Variegatum') is a medium sized deciduous shade tree for landscapes and gardens. The leaves put on a vivid, variegated foliage show that if used cautiously can be a nice accent to the landscape. The foliage will scorch in full sun, and improper pruning (damaging collars) can cause resprouting and a reversion to solid green leaves. This is a cultivated variety of Acer negundo.
