Shaina Japanese Maple - Acer palmatum 'Shaina'

The Shaina Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum 'Shaina') is a small deciduous tree ideal for a specimen in landscapes and gardens. This is one of the few Acer palmatum varieties that actually gets deeper red as the summer progresses. It also is small enough to keep in a container. The dense habit can be prone to developing lots of small dead branches that need cleaned out periodically. This is a cultivated variety of Acer palmatum.
