Red Cutleaf Weeping Japanese Maple - Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Atropurpureum'

The Red Cutleaf Weeping Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Atropurpureum') is a small deciduous tree or large shrub for landscapes and gardens. This tree adds color with the red leaves, texture all summer long with the thin serrated leaves, and interest all winter with the weeping branching habit. The leaf tips will scorch if moisture is on the leaf during the heat of the afternoon. Red color is often lost late summer. This is a cultivated variety of Acer palmatum.
