Deborah Norway Maple - Acer platanoides 'Deborah'
The Deborah Norway Maple (Acer platanoides 'Deborah') is a medium sized deciduous shade tree for landscapes and gardens. The purple emergent leaves turn green in summer and provide a full fall display. Since the burgundy foliage is only seasonal, it does not overpower the summer displays of other plants. The seed stock can revert to parent plant and become invasive. This is a cultivated variety of Acer platanoides.
