Cutleaf Silver Maple - Acer saccharinum 'Laciniatum'
The Cutleaf Silver Maple (Acer saccharinum 'Laciniatum') is a large deciduous shade tree ideal for landscapes and naturalizing in the native range. This is the fastest growing of the Maples and has a wide open habit for providing relatively quick shade. The branches have extremely weak wood and are prone to ice and wind damage. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
