Sentry Sugar Maple - Acer saccharum 'Sentry'
The Sentry Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum 'Sentry') is a columnar deciduous tree for landscapes, gardens, and screening. The extremely columnar habit makes this plant desirable as a tall hedge, street tree, or building accent. The habit of multiple upright branches makes ice damage likely. The bark is also prone to sunscald on newly planted trees. Wrapping the bark is recommended. This is a cultivated variety of Acer saccharum.
