Sugar Maple - Acer saccharum

The Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum) is a large deciduous tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing that is native to the Eastern United States. This species has extremely hard wood, which makes this tree much more durable than other maples. The tree has one of the richest of fall colors, and is the Maple of syrup. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
