Armstrong Maple - Acer X freemanii 'Armstrong'
The Armstrong Maple (Acer X freemanii 'Armstrong') is a columnar deciduous tree for landscapes, gardens, and screening. This plant has short horizontal branches which makes it hardier and less prone to ice damage than other columnar species. The bark can be prone to sun scald in newly planted trees. Wrapping the trunk is highly recommended after transplanting. This plant is a cultivated variety of Acer X freemanii.
