Red Buckeye - Aesculus pavia

The Red Buckeye (Aesculus pavia) is a small deciduous flowering tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. The red flower on this tree occurs at a time when red is not common in woodies, and the flower itself is extremely unique. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
