Trelease - Agave cerulata cerulata

The Trelease (Agave cerulata cerulata) is a small succulent shrub ideal for tropical and arid landscapes and gardens. This is one of the faster Agave to reproduce and can almost create a mounding or creeping habit. The flowers can reach 6-12 feet in height. The spikes on the edge of the leaves are extremely sharp and can cut skin. Do not prune without protection. The native species is most common in production.
