Dentiens Agave - Agave cerulata dentiens
The Dentiens Agave (Agave cerulata dentiens) is a small succulent shrub ideal for tropical and arid landscapes and gardens. This Agave is less erect than others allowing pups to emerge on the shady side faster and spread. Over time this can create a matting effect. The spikes are also smaller on this variety, but still sharp. The spikes on the edge of the leaves are extremely sharp and can cut skin. Do not prune without protection. The native species is most common in production.
