Shindagger - Agave lechuguilla

The Shindagger (Agave lechuguilla) is a small succulent shrub ideal for tropical and arid landscapes and gardens, and naturalizing. This is more of a shorter spreading clump that is good for naturalizing. The blooms can reach 6-16 feet and occur only once, sometimes taking up to 30 years to produce. The spikes on the edge of the leaves are extremely sharp and can cut skin. Do not prune or hike in without protection. The native species is most common in production.
