Holly Agave - Agave lophantha

The Holly Agave (Agave lophantha) is a small succulent shrub ideal for tropical and arid landscapes and gardens. This cute little plant has dentations between the side thorns that give the leaves a Holly. Spikes are present on tips. Even though no visible thorns, the sides are still sharp. Do not prune without protection. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
