Durango Delight - Agave striata

The Durango Delight (Agave striata) is a small succulent shrub ideal for tropical and arid landscapes and gardens. The linear leaves of this plant are roundish and striped with veinage. The plant suckers after blooming and can quickly establish a nice matting habit. As smooth as they look these leaves are still dreadfully painful. The native species is most common in production.
