Santa Rosa Island Manzanita - Arctostaphylos confertiflora

The Santa Rosa Island Manzanita (Arctostaphylos confertiflora) is a very small broadleaf evergreen shrub or groundcover for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in spring, and evergreen leaves. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation, and the berry is a drab brown to orange. The native species is most common in production.
