Island Manzanita - Arctostaphylos insularis
The Island Manzanita (Arctostaphylos insularis) is a large flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in spring, nice red berries, evergreen leaves, and a mahogany colored bark. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation. The native species is most common in production.
