Parry Manzanita - Arctostaphylos manzanita

The Parry Manzanita (Arctostaphylos manzanita) is a large flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in spring, nice red berries, evergreen leaves, and a mahogany colored bark. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation. St. Helena is cultivated from a strain found on Mount Saint Helena in Napa County.
