Mexican Manzanita - Arctostaphylos pungens

The Mexican Manzanita (Arctostaphylos pungens) is a medium sized broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in spring and year round foliage. It is also one of the most winter hardy varieties. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation. The native species is most common in production.
