Shag Bark Manzanita - Arctostaphylos rudis 

The Shag Bark Manzanita (Arctostaphylos rudis) is a medium sized broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in winter and spring, year round foliage, and exfoliating bark on the old growth. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation. The native species is most common in production.
