Bearberry - Arctostaphylos uva-ursi

The Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) is a very small broadleaf evergreen shrub or groundcover for landscapes and gardens. This plant has persistent flowers in spring and year round foliage. It is also one of the most winter hardy varieties. The foliage can develop leaf spot under irrigation. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
