Argan - Argania spinosa

The Argan (Argania spinosa) is a medium sized tree ideal for arid landscapes and gardens. In the native habitat goats eat the fruit and after the pass them the locals collect them and press them to make a cooking oil that is sold in America as a delicacy. Makes me think twice about buying fancy oils for cooking. This plant is also very thorny. The native species is most common in production.
