Variegated White Orchid Tree - Bauhinia variegata candida
The Variegated White Orchid Tree (Bauhinia variegata candida) is a small deciduous flowering tree or large shrub for landscapes and gardens. This is a great bird and butterly tree or shrub with nonstop flowers repeat blooming year-round. In the frost free winters of zones 10 and 11 the leaves can stay on until new ones emerge. The pods produced in fruiting can be exremely messy. The native species is most common in production.
