Wintergreen Barberry - Berberis julianae
The Wintergreen Barberry (Berberis julianae) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This species is used for its evergreen leaf, upright shape, and incredible double flower. This variety is brutal to prune due to the prickly leaves and extra long fine thorns. The native species is most common in production.
