Sunjoy™ Golden Beret Barberry - Berberis thunbergii 'Talago'
The Sunjoy™ Golden Beret Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Talago') is a small deciduous shrub ideal for landscapes, gardens, and containers. This variety is one of the smallest Japanese Barberry and can make a nice small hedge that never needs pruned. It also has a nice clean yellow foliage. This species is considered to be an exotic invasive species in many states and should not be used in wooded areas. It is also very thorny and difficult to keep clean of leaves and debris.
