Emerald Carousel Barberry - Berberis X 'Emerald Carousel'
The Emerald Carousel Barberry (Berberis X 'Emerald Carousel') is a large deciduous shrub for landscapes, gardens and borders. This variety is often sought for the vivid fall color. The thorns are useful for traffic control. The plant is extremely thorny, and other than fall color this plant has a bland summer color and winter appearance. This cultivar is a cross between Berberis thunbergii and Berberis koreana.
