Bog Birch - Betula glandulosa

The Bog Birch (Betula glandulosa) is a small tree or large shrub for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This variety is very tolerant of boggy conditions but can also handle prolonged periods of drought. It is excellent for natural restoration projects. This variety doesn't have the bark show of other Betula. Expect heavy leaf drop when transplanting. The native species is most common in production.
