Dwarf Birch - Betula nana

The Dwarf Birch (Betula nana) is a small deciduous shrub ideal for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing This is a very small form native to the northern most latitudes, and can actually be used for hedging. The minute leaves do not hold up to the summer heat of midwestern and southern zones. The native species is most common in production.
