Cutleaf European Birch - Betula pendula 'Laciniata'
The Cutleaf European Birch (Betula pendula 'Laciniata') is a medium sized deciduous tree for landscape and gardens. This variety is desired for it's narrow upright shape, weeping habit, white exfoliating bark, and cutleaf. It is also much easier to underplant than other Birches. The variety is very susceptible to the bronze birch borer. Expect heavy leaf drop when transplanting. This is a cultivated variety of Betula pendula.
