Whitespire Senior Gray Birch - Betula populifolia 'Whitespire Senior'
The Whitespire Senior Gray Birch (Betula populifolia 'Whitespire Senior') is a medium sized deciduous tree for landscape and gardens. This is truly a birch borer resistant variety with white bark. The lighter root system allows for easy underplanting. This plant has no negatives of note. This variety was cultivated from a parent plant found in Wisconsin. The original plant is now over 50 years old and borer free.
