Babisa - Brahea brandegeei

The Babisa (Brahea brandegeei) is a large broadleaf evergreen tree for landscapes and gardens. This develops the classic tall palm shape with an erect single trunk and retains the dead leaves at the top to form a skirt at the base of the new growth. The bloom on this species is sporatic and insignificant. The native species is most common in production.
