Retama - Bulnesia retama

The Retama (Bulnesia retama) is a small deciduous shrub ideal for arid landscapes and gardens. This is a tough drought tolerant shrub ideal for arid to desert climates. The leaves are drought deciduous and typically retained through winter but lost in the heat of summer. The flower is insignificant on this plant and rarely seen. The native species is most common in production.
