Red Elephant Tree - Bursera hindisiana

The Red Elephant Tree (Bursera hindisiana) is a large deciduous shrub or small tree for naturalizing. I am pretty certain the name comes from this being big, fat and gray like and elephant. This plant can be 4 times as wide as the height and still maintain a single trunk and tree form. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
