Truetree Boxwood - Buxus sempervirens 'Arborescens'

The Truetree Boxwood (Buxus sempervirens 'Arborescens') is a broadleaf evergreen shrub usually used for hedging but also used as a large specimen. The branching habit is less prone to splitting open than other Boxwoods, making this variety ideal for tall hedges and specimens. This plant should not be used for hedges under five feet. This species should always be pruned to maintain a wider bottom than top to develop interior branching and avoid a 'splitting'apart of plant. This is a cultivated variety of Buxus sempervirens.
