The Edging Boxwood (Buxus sempervirens 'Suffruticosa') is a broadleaf evergreen shrub ideal for small hedges. This variety can be clipped to hedges as low as 6" and left untouched will max out at 4 feet. This plant can develop a bare base if the bottom or width of the plant is overly restricted . Always space shrubs in hedges as far apart as you want your hedge tall. Cultivated variety of Buxus sempervirens.
