Purple Beautyberry - Callicarpa dichotoma

The Purple Beautyberry (Callicarpa dichotoma) is a deciduous shrub for naturalizing borders and use as a landscape specimen. This plant is used mainly for its berry interest in fall and winter. This plant is often planted as a native, but really is an exotic invasive that has naturalized in the United States. The native species is most common in production.
