American Hornbeam - Carpinus caroliniana

The American Hornbeam (Carpinus caroliniana) is a medium sized deciduous tree for landscapes, screening and naturalizing. This plant is often found naturalized in dry areas adjacent to water and is tolerant of flooding. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
