Sunshine Blue® Blue Mist Spirea - Caryopteris incana 'Jason'
The Sunshine Blue® Blue Mist Spirea (Caryopteris incana 'Jason') is a deciduous flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This variety is short and wide compared to the parent species. It also has a golden foliage to offset the blue flowrs. Caryopteris as a genus is a great performer that blooms for months on end and loves sun. The twigs also take on a whitish tone in winter for year-round interest. This plant draws bees, but if possible don't let that stop you from growing it. This plant is a trademarked culitvated variety of Caropteris x cladonensis with a patent held by Proven Winners®. Photos of the parent species will aid in identification.
