The Swamp She-Oak (Casuarina obesa) is a medium to large sized coniferous evergreen for landscapes gardens and naturalizing. This tree is a often used in warmer climates in place of pines. The needles are not true needles, but rather linear leaf. This species of She-Oak thrives in wet locations. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
