Cathaya - Cathaya argyrophylla

The Cathaya (Cathaya argyrophylla) is a large coniferous evergreen tree for warmer climates. This is one of the few long needled pine evergreens for warmer climates. This plant has no negatives of note. This is an endangered species native to China but is being cultivated with great success in warmer climates of the United States.
