Blue Blossom - Ceanothus thyrsiflorus

The Blue Blossom (Ceanothus thyrsiflorus) is a flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This is one of the lushest of the large Ceanothus with year-round interest. The species is known to freeze out in winter, but usually comes back from the base. There are several cultivated varieties in production. Most are just cuttings of natural occurring variations.
