Snowbrush - Ceanothus velutinus

The Snowbrush (Ceanothus velutinus) is a flowering broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This species is one of the lushest of the large Ceanothus with year-round interest. This plant can freeze out in winter, but usually comes back from the base. There are several cultivated varieties in production. Most are just cuttings of natural occurring variations.
