Atlas Cedar - Cedrus atlantica

The Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica) is a medium sized pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and gardens. The bluish needles provide a nice contrast to other greens, and are not as "Bright" as Picea varieties. A needle drop before new growth sets occurs around the branch tips making it look sick, but this goes away as soon as the new flush occurs. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
